Director of Special Projects
Gina Forester, Ed.D.Director of Special Projects(609) 965-1034 ext. 136Dr. Forester completed her Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. She is a member of the Phi Delta Kappa International Professional Fraternity for Educators and holds certifications as a School Business Administrator and Principal. In addition, Dr. Forester received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Beaver College (presently known as Arcadia University) in Early Childhood / Elementary Education. She is certified to teach Preschool through eighth grade. She taught elementary school for four years in Plainfield, New Jersey. While teaching, she completed her Masters of Education degree from Beaver College (Arcadia University) in Reading. She is a certified Reading Specialist for grades kindergarten to twelve. She worked as a Reading Specialist in the Special Education Department, and later became the Learning Consultant for the Lindenwold School District. During this time, she completed the Learning Disabilities Teacher - Consultant (LDT-C) and Supervisor Certification programs from Rowan University. She was the Learning Consultant on the Child Study Team in Egg Harbor City from March 2002 to June 2006. In addition to holding this position, she was the Supervisor of Special Services for the district from September 2003 to June 2006. As of July 1, 2006 Dr. Forester became the Supervisor of Special Projects and is now the Director of Special Projects. She is responsible for all Special and General Education Programs, which includes the Child Study Team, English as a Second Language Department, Curriculum and Instruction, and Grants, as well as the district Educational Stability Liaison.

Mrs. Macchione received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola College of Maryland, her teaching certificate from Georgian Court University, and her Master of Arts in Education from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. She is certified as an Elementary School Teacher, a Teacher of Students with Disabilities, and a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant (LDT-C).
She has taught 2nd grade at the Spragg School in Egg Harbor City for 7 years before moving into her current position as the Learning Consultant on the Child Study Team.

Case Management: Out of District Students, Gifted and Talented Students at the Spragg Elementary and Egg Harbor City Community School, and Preschool Disabled Students at the Spragg Elementary School.Mrs. Cabral received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Massachusetts. She received her Masters in Education/School Psychologist Program and Certificate of Advance Graduate Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Massachusetts. Mrs. Cabral is presently the School Psychologist for the Egg Harbor City School District and enjoys assessing, helping to implement, and advocating for the services that best meets the needs of a child and their family. Mrs. Cabral is also, bilingual; she is fluent in the Spanish Language.School Social WorkerJen Connelly, M.S.W.Certified School Social Worker(609) 965-1034 ext. 135Case Management: Students in in-class resource and self-contained classrooms Grades 5-8 at the Egg Harbor City Community School.Mrs. Connelly received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph’s University in Sociology. She has a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. Previous to receiving her Masters degree, Mrs. Connelly was a case manager for 2 years and case manager supervisor for 1 year at a non-profit agency in Philadelphia. In Philadelphia she worked with children and their families who were experiencing emotional and behavioral problems. For the 2003-2004 school year Mrs. Connelly had a full-time internship as a school counselor/social worker in the Willingboro, NJ elementary schools. Presently she is the school social worker for the Egg Harbor City School District. Her responsibilities include conducting social assessments, individual and group counseling, and case management services.

(609) 965-1034 ext. 341Ms. Gentile received her Bachelor of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, and a Master’s of Science in Speech/Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Gentile is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Her responsibilities in the Egg Harbor City School District include: providing speech therapy to students who present with speech or language impairments, evaluating students who present with possible speech/language impairments, and case managing students who fall under the speech only classification.
